The Gandhinagar Thermal Power Station in Gujarat stands as a vital cornerstone in the state’s energy infrastructure. Operating as a coal based power station, it has been instrumental in meeting Gujarat’s growing energy demands.

Originally, the station boasted an impressive installed capacity of 870 MW, featuring units ranging from 120 MW each (Unit no.1 & 2) to three units of 210 MW each (Unit no. 3, 4 & 5), culminating in a total capacity of 870 MW.

TCE played a pivotal role as the end-to-end engineering consultant, guiding the project from pre project engineering stages to the successful commissioning of Units 1 & 2. This collaboration with TCE ensured the power station’s smooth operation and contributed significantly to Gujarat’s power stability and development.
